 Alpine
Arabians Australia is run by endurance rider and equine enthusiast
Rebecca Scott, and partner Rory McGuinness.
Rebecca has won and placed in a number of endurance rides, and
is breeding stock with the potential to excel in this sport. A
journalist, she writes for metropolitan newspapers and educational
media, works for the family documentary business, and has now become
a toe-cutter…trimming horses for a growing local clientele.
She is a foundation member of the Australian Hoof Care Association.
Rory
is one of Australia’s top wildlife cinematographers. He shoots
footage for the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, NHK,
ABC etc. He likes mixing it up close and personal with salt-water
crocodiles, polar bears and tiger sharks. Some of his more recent
credits include working with Sir David Attenborough and the BBC,
filming blue whales off the Victorian coast, and venomous snakes
in Cambodia. When not working he likes to ski.
Bellatrix Scott, 11, is an enthusiastic pony clubber who divides
her time between horses, skiing and classical ballet! Ballet is
winning at the moment, since she got accepted into the Australian
Ballet School’s junior interstate program!
